No bake bars or crumble - delicious gluten free, dairy free, vegan
Eat the whole batch each day to get those calorie requirements in! Im currently trying to consume more than 3000 calories a day to gain a bit of weight for the summer and these babies will do the trick and they are so tasty and easy to eat. Its a coincidence that they are also gluten free and vegan.
- 1 cup oat flour
- 1/2 cup whole oats
- 1/3 cup plain pea protein (one scoop or 24 grams protein)
- 1/2 cup corn flakes cereal (crush it!)
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/3 cup raw honey
- 1 tsp. vanilla extract
protein and calories: 64.5 grams protein, 1447 calories
- get a small pan to press this in
- Combine oats, protein powder, and cereal. Mix until well combined and set aside.
- In a small pan over medium heat, add PB and honey, stirring until the butter is melted and fully combined with the honey. Stir in vanilla extract.
- Remove from heat and pour into the dry mixture. Stir until everything is fully combined it will look dry and crumbly.
- You can press this into a 9x5 loaf pan or just spread it out to the thickness you want.
- Place pan into fridge and allow to cool for about 30 minutes before cutting into bars. Or as I have begun to do, let it crumble back up and use it as a trail mix take it with you on the go!
