WORLDS HEALTHIEST GRANOLA - though some call it bland

I snack on granola too often for there to be a lot of sugar or salt in it, so I don't add them!  This guilt-free granola can be eaten all day long!

This recipe is based on using two cups dry stuff or base, and one cup additives plus the egg whites so the sky is the limit as far as ingredients.
The base recipe is at the bottom, the one I have been making is just below.

1/4 cup sesame seeds
1/4 cup cashews
1/4 cup sliced almonds
1/4 cup pistacios
1/4 cup 90% dark chocolate (adds only 4 g sugar and not really necessary)
1/2 teaspoon stevia
1/2 teaspoon citric acid
1 cup oats
1/2 cup almond flour
1/2 cup hemp seeds

This granola is a whopping 85 grams of plant protein and very low in sugar and sodium

  • Preheat oven to 225 degrees F.
  • Combine all dry ingredients except the stevia and citric acid
  • combine egg, stevia and citric acid, beat egg whites until foamy.
  • Mix egg whites into dry oat mixture.

  • Bake for 50-60 minutes
  • Store in an airtight container for 1-2 weeks.  I keep mine in the fridge.
